A very difficult day today, we lost to KZN 9 ½ to 2 ½, one of the biggest defeats suffered by EGU.

As a team we have taken this defeat graciously and congratulate KZN on some excellent golf. We wish them all the best as the inter provincial continues.

We and a discussion after the match and we will take the positives from the days play and we are thankful for the experienced gained by our young players. We now need to put this behind us and start over tomorrow. We are up against Gauteng North and look forward to the match.
